it's the weekend
and i usually don't share blog links of interest, but these are really good:
- - my favorite compilation of photos recently, thats just it photo.
- - anyone else wish they could drop what they're doing and study culinary arts instead?
learn food, live to eat, entertain, and of course open up a restaurant? cliche, sure. but photos like these inspire
- - the habit of being is unique. raw and natural, "earthy" i guess. his thoughts here give you an idea of his appreciation for the outdoors, and all her pictures show the same
- - and brian's new portfolio (especially his "to the sea" series) from over at the blue hour
dropping everything and going to culinary school has crossed my mind many times...
thanks for the shout out, nate.
good links.
i have also noticed a trend in your style of picture taking. headless photos.
its nice i like it.
most pictures are focused on the faces with a touch of blur to the back ground..its neat to see a style with no faces.
i don't know if i'd open a restaurant, but i always wanted to drop what i was doing and let photography take over....but these days with digital there are to many hobby photographers to make any kind of living off it.
such a romantically sweet photo pairing!
thanks for sharing some links.
i'm off to have a look at them.
These photos are so soft and warming.
I love 'the habit of being'. I've been following it for quite some time and I am always relaxed when I leave.
Thanks for the links nate. hope you guys are doing well. It's cold here. I bet it isn't there. arghhhh.
yeah thanks for the links. i'm taking notes : ) and thank you so much for the prints and tea you sent me! truly made my day!
by the way beautiful light in these photos. can't wait for warmer days and summer light here.
I love your links. Thanks for sharing.
Really enjoy the color in your photos, especially since we're lacking much color these days in Chicago.
The photos you linked to of il Buco are great, such amazing light. Restaurant and other indoor lighting is something I have been very interested in as of late. Thanks for the links.
Ooo, really like that's just it photo. Romantic and soft.
love those winter photos, but having been stuck in 20 inches of snow for a while, i would love to see more of hawaii right about now.
found you through brian, your space is great!
no no. we are not euro experts, but (and this is a secret, so shhhh).......my husband got into an English Literature MA program at Saint Louis University, which is in Missouri, but at their Madrid campus, so we are moving to Madrid (thanks to financial aide) in the middle of August. If you happen to come to Madrid in the next two years, the air mattress is still free.
yes! love the habit of being. only wish they posted more often.
can't wait to discover the others you recommended. what a great little sunday evening gift!
and as a gift back to you, check out grass doe, my favorite photo blog. like the new england compliment to hearblack, but with more food, less sunshine and the occasional nude: http://grassdoe.blogspot.com/
